As you will see from viewing the work shown here, my overriding interest is in wildlife and the landscape. The majority of paintings have evolved from exploring brooks, small rivers, ponds, hedgerows, woodlands and their wildlife. In recent works the landscape in closeup is what interests me. I’m painting considerably larger than usual, (1800mm x 1000mm) enabling me to paint the landscape life size. There is a magnifying facility to enable closer inspection.
