Good home cooked food plays an important part in our courses and is a valuable time of the day to be together, relax and have a laugh.

Fresh seasonal produce, when possible from the garden, is used in creating a variety of dishes for lunch and the evening meal (2 day course).

During the summer when there is an abundance of salad ingredients to choose from we’ll be preparing leafy salads and roasting vegetables in oil to enjoy with paté, cheese, chutney and warm bread for lunch. In the colder weather a cheering bowl of homemade soup or rissotto could be served with warm rolls. Accompanied by a glass of wine, beer or something non alcoholic and little taste of something sweet to finish off!

The evening meal (2 day break) will be three courses, starter, main course and desert and will include wine or non alcoholic drinks. In the summer we have a barbecue in the garden or picnic under the shade of a tree. For darker, colder evenings we will be enjoying more hearty dishes in the glow of a log fire.

Coffee is served on arrival and after lunch and tea and home made cake in the afternoon, water is available at all times.

Everything is prepared in our home kitchen which is four star graded (Environmental Health). We can cater for anyone with a dietry requirement and it is best to say if there are any food dislikes.
